This training unit will help you to understand how to create a wooden last, starting from the measurement of the feet. Youll be able to coordinate and to measure the foot left and right and to make the drawing, to choose and to make the changes on the standard last, to assess the outcome and to implement and verify lasts prototypes.

To study the morphology of the foot and leg, to determine dimensional and functional factors and to establish the type of last for each category of population (lady, gentleman, child) and the type of last for the manufacture depending on the type of luxury or high-end footwear to be made (oxford, sandal, etc.). This training unit will support the development of skills to perform a high-end shoe quality control according to fit and comfort, aesthetical appearance and technical aspects (durability) of footwear and to understand the fundamentals for achieving maximum customer satisfaction, focusing on delivering a high-quality luxury footwear, and setting up a high-quality control system.

This training unita will support the development of the entire process to repair and finish the sole, heel, welt and other components, in accordance to the model type and respecting the luxury footwear quality requirements.
